She was baptized in the Lutheran faith in Hude, Germany, and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. Paul's church in the community north of Hooper, Dodge Co., Nebraska.</span></p> <p> </p> <p id="yui_3_16_0_1_1448231623445_2401"><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1448231623445_2403"><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1448231623445_2405" style="font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 11pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">She married Diedrich Windhusen on Mar 31, 1885, </span><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1448231623445_2407">in Hooper, Dodge, NE. They had eight children: Gesine Mathilde, Anna Theodora, George Martin, Katherine Helmine, Anna Elizabeth, Henry Theodore, John Harold, and Caroline Louise.</span></span></p> <p>After wedding day they farmed at Pender, Nebr. Then they moved to Medical Lake, Wash.</p>

Haar). Additionally, the auswanderer site has then coming over to New York and listed on a list of passengers. The family history has then coming to Baltimore. She was married to Diedrich Windhusen, at the age of 17, residing at that time on the Nebraska Indian reservation.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: .25in;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><spanstyle="mso-tab-count: 1;"><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span></span><span style="font-size: medium;">With three children they migrated west in 1892 by way of California and Oregon to Medical Lake. Here Mr. Windhusen set up a business, called the Medical Lake Salts Plant. The water of Medical Lake was transformed into crystals, and doctors from Europesent here for the mineral.
