<p>RICHARD LEISCHNER</p><p>Funeral services for Richard Robert Leischner, 65, were held at the Salem United church of Christ on Saturday, Sept. 20, with the Rev. Fred Sprenger officiating.</p><p>Mr. Leischner was born on Oct. 3, 1903 in Hutchinson County to Gottfried and Mathilda nee Winter Leischner. He married Ida Wuertzer on Sept. 16, 1928 in the Friedensfeld church and to this union were borntwo children. he died on Thursday, Sept. 18, at the St. Benedict Hospital following a heart attack.</p><p>Survivors include his widow, one son, Kenneth at home, and one daughter, Elaine, Mrs. JerryTiede of Parkston, one brother, Reinhold of Sioux Falls, and six sisters: Mrs. Julius Reimann of Hillsboro, Ore., Mrs. Carl Triebwasser of Sioux Falls, Mrs. Bernard Winter of Alpena, Mrs. George Baltzer of Tripp, and Mrs. Wm. Bietz and Mrs. Leo Pietz of Parkston. One brother preceded him in death.</p>Casketbearers were Gary Pietz, Ervin Bietz, Darrel Winter, Ruben Bertsch, Stanley and Merlyn Wuertzer. Burial was made in the Parkston Protestant Cemetery with Hassen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
