Pate von Johann Feuchter ist Baptist Leiser, Pfarrer zu Fischbach. Johann Feuchter ist 1688 als Student der Theologie an der Universität Jena und 1690 an der Universität Leipzig immatrikuliert. In den Akten wird er aus Dermbach gebürtig bezeichnet, stammt jedoch aus Neidhartshausen. 1694 wird er Pfarrer im Eisenacher Teil des Orts Ruhla. Johann Feuchter wird 1726 und 1728 als Pate bei den Kindern von 28 genannt, ebenso seine Frau Anna Elisabetha, zu dieser Zeit beide in Ostheim vor der Rhön ansässig. Im dortigen Seelenregister wird er als 1724 zugezogen erwähnt. Am 21.10.1728 ist er Pfarrer in Wolferstedt sowie geistlicher Gerichtsassessor. Im benachbarten Allstedt gibt er geistlichen Unterricht, stirbt 1732, nach Meinung des Ortschronisten jedoch nicht in Wolferstedt.
