The bride is a charming and attractive young lady and has a large circle of friends. The bridegroom is a member of the RICHMOND fire department. The couple will spend the honeymoon with relatives in Margarettsville, N.C.

  THURSTON Died Thuesday, Feb 8, 1966 at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. A. M. Waldrop of Goochland, Va., Walter K. Thurston. Besides Mrs. Waldrop, he was survived by Mrs. Thelma Thurston [ed. This was an error in the obituary. Thelma never married.], Mrs. Mildred Chomicz, Mrs. Alice Johnson, Mrs. Ann Monroe; one son, W. Carle Thurston: two brothers, R. H. and M. N. Thurston: two sisters, Mrs. C. C. Cosby, Miss Mary Thurston. 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren. Remains rest at the Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home, Third and Marshall, where services will be held Thursday at 4 P.M. Interment in Riverview. The deceased was a member of Fitzhugh Lee Camp No. 1, Spanish War Veterans.

Waldrop of Goochland, Miss Thelma Thurston, Mrs Walter J. Chomicz, Mrs. H.S. Johnson and Mrs. Fred Monroe, all of Richmond; a son W. Carle Thurston of Richmond; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home: with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
