Anderson, 90, of Arlington, died Friday, March 31, 1989, at her son's home in Arlington.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri;"> <span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Anna Liston was born September 7, 1898, in Nickerson. She taught in rural Dodge County schools for five years before her marriage.</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: medium;font-family: Calibri;"> <span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">She married Richard Suhr in April, 1923. They moved to Idaho in 1931. She returned to Nebraskain 1950 and lived in Sidney where she worked as a waitress.</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri;"> <span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">She married Edward L. Anderson January 12, 1962, in Sidney. He died September 25, 1986.</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri;"> <span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">She then moved to Arlingtonto live with her son, William Suhr. She was an accomplished pianist, who taught piano and played for many churches and organizations throughout her lifetime until suffering a stroke six years ago.</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri;"> <span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Survivors include four sons, Franklin Suhr of Paul, Idaho, Wiliam Suhr of Arlington, Lavon Suhr of North Ogden, Utah and Edward Anderson, Jr. of Kearney; three daughters, Betty Haven and Joyce Bennett, both of Sidney and Judy Morris of Lake Chelan, Washington; three brothers, Franklin Liston of Nickerson and William and Clayton Liston both of Hooper; five sisters, Wilma Meyer of Ellsworth, Kansas, MayBelle Johnson of North Bend, Helen Robertson of Fremont and Lolita Porter and Theresa Suhr of Scribner; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri;"> <span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Robert Saunders officiated. She taught in elementary schools in Nebraska. She married Richard Suhr in 1923. In 1931, they moved to MinidokaCounty. They were later divorced. She then returned to Nebraska in 1951. She married Edward Anderson in 1962, in Sidney, Neb. Following his death in 1986, she had lived in Arlington.</p> <p> <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>She was active in the Paul Community Church and the Pioneer Grange where she played the piano for many functions. In Nebraska, she pursued her love ofmusic and gave many children and adults free music lessons. She also accompanied many church congregations.</p> <p> <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Surviving are two sons, Franklin Suhr of Paul and William Suhr or Arlington; three stepdaughters; Betty Hoven, Joyce Bennett and Judy Morris; one stepson, Edward Anderson; five sisters; three brothers; 14 step-grandchildren;and 8 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter.</p> <p> <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The funeral will be today at the Moser Funeral Home inFremont, Neb.
