He came with his parents to America in 1882, settling near Oregon, Ill. On September 13, 1896, he was united in marriage to Maria Wenzel of Oregon, and they made their home at Flagg Station. To them were born six children: John, Anna, Herman, Gottfried, Ross and Louise. In 1906, the Hintzsche family moved to the farm about three miles southwest of Sycamore on the Coltonville road, where they had since made their home. In November, 1916, the wife and daughter Anna were suddenly called to their eternal rest. On December 2, 1920, Mr. Hintzsche was married to Clara E. Grometer, of Aurora, Ill. In March, 1921, the son Gottfried was called to his eternal home after a prolonged illness. Last Monday morning, March 2, at 11:15 o'clock Otto Hintzsche passed from this life, at the age of 56 years, 11 months and 28 days. He is survived by his wife and four sons, John, Herman, Ross and Louis. The funeral services will be conducted on Thursday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock at the home and at 2:30 o'clock at St. John's Lutheran church in Sycamore, the pastor, Rev. Erdmann Freuk officiating. The interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
