Aus Find A Grave: Gotfried Hintzsche GEBURT 1899 Flagg, Ogle County, Illinois, USA TOD 24 Mrz 1921 (im Alter von 21-22) Sycamore, DeKalb County, Illinois, USA BESTATTUNG Elmwood Cemetery Sycamore, DeKalb County, Illinois, USA GEDENKSTÄTTEN-ID 150459392 True Republican, 26 March 1921 Gotfried Hintzsche, son of Otto Hintzsche, died at the homestead, three and one-half miles southwest of Sycamore on Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. He was taken ill last July of tuberculosis. He was taken to the DeKalb county tuberculosis sanitarium where he remained for six months but continuing to fail was taken to his home where death came to his relief on Thursday evening. Gotfried Hintzsehe was a young man of genial personality. He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran church of this city. His early death when his life had seemed so full of promise is deeply regretted and brings sadness to many. He was twenty-one years of age. There is left surviving besides his father his stepmother and four brothers Herman, Ross, Louie, and John. His mother and only sister died four year ago, less than one month apart. Funeral services will be held at St. John's Lutheran church here on Sunday, March 27, at 2 o'clock p.m. the pastor, Rev. Mr. Bartusch officiating, and the interment will be in the family lot in Elmwood cemetery.
