Nachrichten: My great-great-grandmother, Catherine Multerer, was probably born in Bohemia, in 1818. Her parents were Josef Multerer & Anna Marie ______. She immigrated to Manitowoc in 1854, and married Johann Koeppel in 1854. She is buried in Whitelaw ST. Michaels cemetery-died in 1900. She had children Anton, Walburga & Maria. I am trying to find the place of origin for her & her parents. I have seen information about Aloisia Multerer, who married Wencel Gresl. Aloisia's parents were Josef Multerer & AnnaGerl. Aloisia lived in Manitowoc, moved to Kansas, where she died. She is buried at St. Michaels, Whitelaw. I have wondered whether & how Catherine & Aloisia were related. If you have any information which could help determine this, let me know. I am also looking for the place of origin for Johann Koeppel, born inBavaria in 1820, of parents Johann & Barbara. regards
