BIOGRAPHIE: Der Name Windschüttl wurde nach der Imigration auf Windschitl geändert.

TOD: Obituary, Sleepy Eye Herald-Dispatch, November 29, 1934: An illness of only two days duration brought to an end the earthly career of George Windschitl Sr., 62, who passed away at the Parkview Hospital Monday morning at 7:00 o'clock. He had been in failing health for six months. Death was due to hardening of the liver and dropsy. He was a native of Austria and came to this country in 1886, settling in Mulligan Township. The deceased had been in the ice business for 33 years. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Church Wednesday morning at 9:30 and burial was in the Catholic Cemetery. Members of St. John's Society attended in a body.
