Allene Betty Ann ROCKEMANN

Obituary from the Humboldt Standard, July 28, 1997.

Allene Betty Ann Antholz, daughter of Chris and Anna (Tjaden) Rockemann, was born on a farm northwest of Humboldt, Ne. on Aug. 8, 1921.

Allene was baptized in infancy at the Pleasant View Methodist Church, north of Humboldt. She attended rural school at Prairie Hill District 46.

Feb. 22, 1947 she was married to Vernie Antholz. The couple estyablished their home on a farm in Richardson County and continued to live on the farm until Nov. of 1978. when they moved to their present home in Humboldt, Vernie died Nov.18, 1987.

Allene died at her home July 25, 1997, having reached the age of 75 years, 11 months and 17 days.

She is survived by three sons, Dwayne and his wife Diane of Bloomington, IL. Dennis and his wife Carol of Pawnee City, and Darrel of Eagle. two daughters, Dianna Ohland of Turner, OR. and Debra and husband Paul Jorn of Humboldt, 6 grandchildren, and one sister, Ruth Slater.

She was preceded in deat by her parents, husband, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Services were held July 28 at Wherry Funeral Home in Humboldt, Ne. withRev. May-Ellen Gaither officiating.

Pallbearers were Robert Albright, Gene Carpenter, Don Harshbarger, Terry Frank, Weldon Slater and Jim Wihelm.

Interment was in the Humboldt Cemetery.
