Mary Ellen Hickman, former Denver resident, died Friday in Salem, Ore. She was 86. Graveside services and interment will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Lakewood. She was born Dec. 20, 1903, in Knox County, Mo. She worked for Denver Dry Goods for 26 years and was a school teacher. She was a member of Eastern Star. Survivors include two brothers, Henry Hickman, Jefferson City, Mo., and W. B. Bill Hickman, Dallas, Ore. DENVER (Colo.) POST, 30 July 1990, p. 8C. Mary Ellen Hickman, 86, of Dallas, Ore., died July 27 in Salem, Ore. Graveside services and burial will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, in Crown Hill Cemetery. Miss Hickman, a native of Knox County, Mo., was a teacher and worked 26 years as a clerk in the Denver Dry Goods shoe department. She was a past worthy matron and 60-year member of Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include two brothers, Henry S. Hickman of Jefferson City, Mo., and W. B. 'Bill' Hickman of Dallas, Ore.
