Maybelle Zirkle, 94, of Crystal Lake, formerly of Onarga, died at 4:15 p.m. Thursday (March 21, 2013) at Bickford Assisted Living, Crystal Lake. She was born Jan. 15, 1919 in Forrest, the daughter of Christian and Rosa Atteberry Kammermann. She married Frank Zirkle on April 6, 1941 in Roberts. He preceded her in death Sept. 22, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Zirkle; one brother, Charles Kammermann and three sisters, Ruth Kammermann, Helen Kammermann and Ruby Lyons. Surviving are one daughter, Connie (Bob) Frerichs; two grandsons, Douglas Wayde Frerichs and Nathan Scott (Cindy) Frerichs; two great-grandchildren, Teira Nicole Frerichs and Elliot Rubin Frerichs and many nieces and nephews.
