Patricia Louise ZIRKLE

Patricia Louise Meyer, 78, of Gilman, IL., passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at her home. Patricia was born on October 4, 1939 in Onarga, IL., to Charles and Marie Zirkle Sr. She grew up in Thawville, IL and graduated from Roberts Thawville High School in 1958. Patricia married Arnold Meyer on January 16, 1970. He survives. Also surviving are sons; James (Melissa) Meyer of Danforth, IL., Robert (Kimberly) Meyer of Phoenix, AZ., David (Rhonda) Meyer of Gilman, Paul Meyer of Pontiac, IL., 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Four sisters Shirley Strode of West Aurora, IL, Fern Lephiew of Warren, AR., Glenda Johnson of Kankakee, IL. and Sandy Tilley of Du Quoin, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lori Ann Meyer, son Earl Thomas Meyer, granddaughter Caitlyn Meyer and two brothers Donald Zirkle and Charles Zirkle Jr. Patricia was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Gilman. She enjoyed talking to family and friends about her grandchildren, collecting porcelain dolls and watching western movies. Her funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman with the Rev. Dr. Carol Lange and Rev. Robert Blumberg officiating. Burial will be in the Gilman Cemetery, Gilman. Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman.
