BIOGRAPHY: Margaretha Barbara applied for emigration from Germany inFebruary of 1830, with her parents and siblings. The family went to,Madison Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, where she met and married, JohnPhilip Mack. She died early in life, and Mack family lore states thatMargaretha's mother moved into the house to help care for Philip andMargaretha's children.
