Lucille Agnes Halvorsen, 84, Klamath Falls, died Sept. 22, 1992, in Klamath Falls. She was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Jacob Berg and the former Anna Brueher. She attended schools there. She was married to Austin H. Halvorsen in Coer d'Alene in 1923. They moved in 1941 to Klamath Falls, where her husband was employed in the lumber industry. She operated and managed family-owned gas stations during World War II and worked in various other jobs when money for the family was needed. She enjoyed square dancing and homemaking. She excelled in baking, sewing, and crocheting. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lois Halvorsen, Klamath Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Jean and Jack Prairie, Watsonville, Calif.; brothers, Roy Berg, Mount Shasta, Calif., and Bert Berg, Fort Worth, Texas; six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death. She was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Jacob Berg and the former Anna Brueher. She attended schools there.
