Johann Heinrich Hustedt was born March 26, 1847, at Hustedt, Province Hannover, Germany. e
In the year 1869 he was united in the holy bonds of matrimony with Rebecca Diers. In the spring of 1889 he came to America where some of his sons had already settled. After being a tenant for some years and he prospered sufficiently to acquire his own farm.
On the 29th of June, 1915 his beloved wife passed away. After the deathof his wife, he stayed with the tenant upon his farm, but for the lasttwo years, he has made his home with his daughter Sophie. For about two weeks his health was failing, and his death came unexpectedly on July4th, 1928, in the afternoon. He had reached an age of 81 years, threemonths, and eight days.
He is survived by two sons and four daughters, two children having already departed, who together with many other relatives and friends mournhis death. Funeral services were conducted at Hanover in the German language by Rev. E. Wehking and in the American language by Rev. E. F. Wehking on Saturday, July 7th.
